Since 2000, the River Cup Foundation has donated $419,150 to local children's charities.
The River Cup Foundation is a tax exempt 501(c)3 charitable organization that accepts gifts of stock, memorials or bequests. We also have various levels of sponsorships available to our many corporate and golf friends. Please feel free to use the Contact Us tab and let us know your thoughts & needs. We are great partners! Both on the course and off.
As a result of our efforts and in partnership with players, parents, sponsors and friends, more than $525,000 has gone back into the Tri-County Golf community. Additionally, we have invested over $350,000 in support of our junior events.
Our Scholarship program began in 2001 and concluded in 2022, with a merger into our Fore Golf Grant Program. During those years, we helped more than 50 young men and women who were involved with golf further their college education. $54,200 was donated to these outstanding Tri-County students.
After 10 plus years of service and introducing over 1000 young people to the game of golf, we merged our Youth Clinic into our Fore Golf Grant Program in 2017. We gave back to the game and our community by sponsoring a free youth clinic each Spring. In conjunction with the Peoria Park District and Illini Golf, current and former River Cup players, along with River Cup Board members served as instructors and group leaders for the morning clinic. Lunch was served and a gift provided for those participating. Boys and Girls of all skill levels ages 8-14 played. More than $10,000 was invested into this endeavor. Thank You to all who made this possible.
We are very proud of our record of giving back to those organizations that help children in our community!
