Players, including college students, must be a legal resident of the County at the time of the qualifying event and the Championship proper. Players who travel for work will be reviewed by the Committee on a case by case basis.
Players in college can compete for the County where their parents or legal guardians take permanent residence; certain age restrictions will apply.
Every players Amateur status is subject to review by the Committee, the CDGA/USGA, as is player conduct.
In ties NOT decided on the course, all players get the points for the place tied for; i.e. - two players tying for 2nd in Tazewell County Amateur gives both players 75 points, 4th gets 30 points
Players may receive points starting in January. Teams will be chosen in the Fall/Winter of that year for the coming year's team.
